The wire harness system of an electric scooter is mainly composed of the following types of cables and connection components, which are used to transmit power, signals and data. 1.Power supply harness for electric scooters
Connect the battery pack to the controller using 12AWG-14AWG wires to carry large currents (such as 36V/48V systems).
Voltage monitoring (BMS system) balance line for individual cells.
Charge and discharge interface cable: Connects the charging port to the battery and may include a temperature sensor cable.
2. Motor wiring harness for electric scooter/Electric Scooter Motor Cables
Three-phase motor line (brushless motor) : Connects the controller to the motor and transmits the driving current. It includes Hall sensor wires (5 thin wires for feedback on the rotor position).
3. Control signal wiring harness for electric scooters
- Throttle signal line (usually 3 wires: 5V power supply, signal line, ground).
Brake power-off signal line (normally closed/normally open contact).
- Speed gear switching line (such as multi-speed regulation).
